Canadian Prime Minister, Justin Trudeau, is keen to host the world at the 2023 WPC Congress in Calgary. WPC Canada is honoured to have the support from the Canadian federal, provincial and municipal governments for its 2023 bid.
And it’s not just government getting behind WPC Canada’s bid - many industry associations and Canada’s largest energy companies are also supporting the bid. The WPC Canada knows that government and industry support is critical to the success of a Congress and is pleased to see the various levels of government and the Canadian oil and gas industry step forward so quickly with their support. The foundations for a successful Congress in Calgary are already in place.
Justin Trudeau, Prime Minister of Canada

Alberta’s Premier, Minister of Energy, and Minister of Economic Development and Trade and Calgary’s Mayor have all pledged their support, demonstrating the country's interest and engagement in hosting the WPC. WPC Canada’s bid to host the 2023 Congress is built on support from the entire country.

We invite you to come and be part of the energy in Calgary!
